NatWest OSCAs

The OSCAs (Outstanding Service to Cricket Awards) are aimed at recognising and rewarding the positive work of those volunteers who give so much of their time to the game of Cricket – without these individuals the game would not survive.

The 2010 Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket Board NatWest OSCA’s are brought to you by Durant Cricket.

The OSCA’s are a fantastic way to recognise and reward the great work and commitment of volunteers. By nominating someone you will be in with a chance of winning a t20 ticket.

The 7 OSCA nomination categories are as follows;
 Behind the Scenes
 Building Partnerships
 Leagues & Boards
 Lifetime Achiever
 NatWest CricketForce
 Officiating – Umpires and Scorers
 Young Volunteer

The best way to value volunteers is to take the time to thank them for their efforts. By doing this, volunteers will feel the work they do is worthwhile, makes a difference and as such are more likely to continue volunteering.

The first 20 Clubs, Leagues or Associations nominating will win 1 ticket to watch Leicestershire play Durham in a t20 game on the 16th July at Grace Road.

The County NatWest OSCA's will be held at Grace Road on 25th August where the winner and a guest can enjoy hospitality whilst watching Leicestershire play Surrey in the LV= County Championship.

The winners will be invited by the ECB to attend the national event which takes place at Lords on the 18th October 2010. Last year saw Paul Fletcher from Kirby Muxloe receive national recognition for his Work ‘Behind the Scenes’.

You can download the Nomination form and judging criteria below and should return your completed nomination to the LRCB Office or via email to laura.joyce@ecb.co.uk. Completed nominations should be returned no later than Friday 9th July 2010.
