Cricket Development Manager

Chris Porter: Chris’s role within the LRCB is to create the Long Term Development Plan which aims to develop cricket in Leicestershire and Rutland over the next five years. Chris is also responsible for delivering the ‘County Cricket Board Improvement Planning Process’ for the board which is an essential aspect of the LRCB development plan. Chris is also responsible for building partnerships with Sports Development Networks with key partners.

David Bailey (Cricket Development Officer)

David Bailey: David’s role is to provide support to Focus Clubs and Affiliated Clubs with Junior Sections to assist them in working towards / achieving / maintaining Clubmark accreditation. Provide advice and guidance on current funding opportunities and assist clubs in increasing ‘Investment in Cricket’ where financial need matches strategic goals as defined within the clubs approved Annual and Five Year Development Plans.

Cricket Technical Support Officer

Neeta Patel: Neeta’s role is to work in partnership with the LRCB Youth And Representative Committee, Women’s & Girls Committee,  and Community Coach to ensure support for club development and competition programmes are planned, administered, advertised and delivered effectively, including; Schools Competitions; Inter club competitions (Youth League) and age group cricket programmes (Representative and District). Neeta also represents the LRCB at Coaches Association meetings by providing independent operational administrative support.
