LRCB Association of Cricket Officials
ECB Association of Cricket Officials
The ECB Association of Cricket Officials (ECB ACO) has been set up by ECB to represent umpires, scorers and match referees throughout cricket in England and Wales.
The ECB ACO was established on January 1 2008, with members of the Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers having voted to join members of the ECB Officials Association in the new organisation.
The ECB believes that the establishment of the ACO representing Officials, under the auspices of the national governing body for cricket in England and Wales and supported by the MCC, the Guardians of the Laws of Cricket, is a positive move that will command widespread support within the game.
Applications for Membership
The ECB is inviting applications for membership from umpires and scorers who wish to join the ECB Association of Cricket Officials.
Membership is open to all umpires and scorers including those outside England and Wales.
Membership Cards
Membership cards will be produced for the 2008 season. The membership cards will incorporate the year the member joined so that members will be able to have evidence of their ECB ACO Umpire/Scorer Status and the date they joined ECB ACO.
Your status can be checked by calling the ECB ACO Membership Officer on 020 7432 1231. Your status will also be sent out with a hard copy of the Newsletter.
2008 Membership renewals
Members who have paid by direct debit will automatically have their 2008 subscriptions withdrawn on Monday January 14 2008, unless they let the ECB ACO Membership Officer know at the below contact details that you do not want your membership renewed.
Members who paid by cheque in 2007 will be sent a renewal form, and also invited to pay by direct debit, but we will still accept cheques.
