Ashby Hastings
Ashby Hastings is an ECB CLUBMARK accredited club who's members enjoy playing on one of the finest grounds in the region, located in the beautiful setting of The Bath Grounds in the centre of Ashby. The club run three Saturday League sides, the 1st and 2nd XI's play in the Everards Leicestershire County League, the 1st XI are in the Premier Division and the 2nd XI in Division 5 whilst the 3rd XI play in the Burton & District League. The club also runs a Sunday Friendly team along with a Junior Section that includes sides at Under 15, Under 13, Under 11 and Under 10 age groups. Senior training sessions take place during the season on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on The Bath Grounds from 5:30pm. Junior coaching sessions for all age groups take place on a Friday evening. Senior pre season "Winter Net" sessions run between January and the start of the new season every year, and take place at the ECB National Academy in Loughborough. There are also sessions held at Ashby Leisure Centre and or Ibstock School sports hall. Junior Winter nets are held at Ashby Leisure Centre on a Sunday. Barrow Town Cricket Club are an ECB Focus Club located near Loughborough in the north of the county. The club has two senior Saturday sides playing in the Everards Leicestershire League and a Sunday friendly XI. The thriving junior section has youngsters from Under 7 through to Under 17 and run a coaching programme throughout the year and a playing programme during the summer with teams playing in the Leicestershire Youth Cricket League. Bowden Cricket Club is based at the Recreation Ground in Great Bowden, near Market Harborough. We run two teams that compete in the Northamptonshire Cricket League, a team in the Market Harborough & District Evening League and a Sunday friendly XI. We also have a thriving junior section that has sides in both the Under 13's and Under 15's Sections of the Leicestershire Youth Cricket League. In 2005, we achieved a long held aim of building a new pavilion and also achieved 'Clubmark' acreditation. We also have 'Focus Club' status. New players of all ages and standards are always welcome. Countesthorpe CC
With over 80 years history, we are one of the oldest and proudest clubs in South Leicestershire. Tucked away on the outskirts of the village, we have a hard working committee and thriving junior section, we are very community minded. Countesthorpe offer 3 Saturday sides, 2 play in the Everards County Cricket League with the 1st X1 in Division 1 and the 2nd X1 in Division 4. The 3rd X1 play in the Leicestershire League. We also run an Evening League side playing on Tuesday's who are the current South Leicestershire Evening League Champions. Club nets throughout the season will run on Thursday evenings for seniors with additional practice on Wednesday’s. Friday's will be practice evening for all junior sides up to age 15. All age groups are represented in the Leicestershire Youth League Competitions. During the winter months we run comprehensive practice sessions for all age groups at Countesthorpe College and the Leicester Cricket Academy As a “Clubmark” accredited Club we feel that we should provide the relevant information and this can be accessed via the 'Postings' section of our website where the documents such as Codes of Conduct and Child Welfare policies can be viewed. Cropston
Cropston Cricket Club was formed in about 1920 and has played at the Jackson-family owned ground in Waterfield Road, Cropston since then. On the senior side of the club we run two Saturday XIs in the Everards Leicestershire County Cricket League, a Sunday friendly XI and are represented in the Loughborough Cricket Association Thursday League. The junior section features coaching on a Friday evening from qualified coaches for children (boys and girls) aged 7 to 17 with teams in the Leicestershire Youth League at Under 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 17. During the cricket season the ground and bar facilities represent a focal point for the whole village. The club has recently achieved the coveted ECB Clubmark accreditation. Hinckley Amateur CC
Hinckley Amateur Cricket Club based at the Ashby Road Sports Ground in Hinckley achieved ECB Clubmark Accreditation, a benchmark of best practice in terms of Child Welfare and club management, in November 2004. The club has three senior Saturday sides with two playing in the Everards Leicestershire County League and one playing in the Leicestershire Cricket League plus two mid-week league teams and a Sunday friendly XI. In addition the club has a thriving junior section for youngsters aged from Under 7 through to Under 17 with comprehensive coaching sessions provided throughout the year. There is also a summer playing programme with junior teams competing in the South East and South West Districts of the Leicestershire Youth League. Since 2006 the club has also been an integral part of the Cricket Foundation's national programme “Chance to Shine” which has involved the club in taking cricket coaching into a number of state schools (primary and secondary) in the Hinckley area and surrounding district. Kibworth CC
Situated in the South Leicestershire village of Kibworth Beauchamp, Kibworth Cricket Club provides a high standard of cricket for players of all ages and abilities in a friendly family atmosphere. Our first XI play in the Premier division of the Everard's Leicestershire League and won the Cockspur National Club cup in 2004, returning to Lord's last year to lose off the final ball. Our second XI also play in the Everards league (Division 1) whilst third and fourth teams compete in the Northamptonshire cricket league at Division 7 and 13 respectivily. A full program of Sunday friendly and Wednesday evening league cricket is also available whilst our thriving Junior section runs sides at Kwik, U11, U13, U15 and U17 level. Our new ground (opened 2006) has two playing pitches and a large pavilion which provides a focus for the clubs healthy social life. Kirby Muxloe CC
Kirby Muxloe Cricket Club is situated within the grounds of the Kirby Muxloe Sports and Village Club, and provides excellent playing and social facilities in the heart of Leicestershire whilst boasting excellent motorway links and access for players, visitors, and members. Due to a strong youth development programme and thriving junior section (aged 7-17 years) the club has recently been awarded ECB Focus Club status and is working towards Clubmark accreditation. New players of all ages are always welcome to join our family friendly club and can attend indoor/ outdoor training sessions from January to late September run by ECB qualified coaches as well as summer holiday courses for youngsters of all ages and abilities. The club also benefits from having experienced and dedicated groundsmen looking after the square and outfield. In January the club hosted a ‘Showcase’ NatWest CricketForce event where a new log cabin style pavilion was built with the help of Mike Gatting, the England u/19 squad and a large army of volunteers. Langtons CC
Langtons CC was founded in 1895 and is situated in the village of East Langton, just off the Market Harborough to Melton road (B6147) ―the ground is one of the most picturesque in Leicestershire. Langtons has two Saturday teams playing in the Everards League, it continues to put out two Sunday teams and also participates in the Harborough mid-week league. The club acts as a hub for many social activities, within an area of rural Leicestershire; last year (2007) there were over 40 social members. The club holds an inter-village competition between the five Langton villages and also hosts teams from other villages further a field. It also opens its facilities to organisations such as the Round Table and The Care Village (local community of vulnerable adults with special needs). The club was awarded Clubmark status in 2006 and has Focus Club status for the development of Girls Cricket - being one of the strongest clubs playing girls cricket in the county of Leicestershire. It supplies many girls to the county teams at several age groups. Langtons has a strong junior section with about 75 paid-up members during the 2007 season. It enters teams into the Leicestershire Youth League at U13, U15 and U17 age groups and will also play an U11 team in the 2008 competition. These teams regularly contain one or two girls - not as a policy, but on merit. Coaching sessions for the juniors take place on Sunday mornings and are well attended.

Loughborough Carillon CC
Loughborough Carillon has a unique heritage in Loughborough cricket having begun life as a club solely for junior cricketers. Junior cricket remains a priority and the club has been appointed a ECB Focus Club having been granted ClubMark status. The club currently runs 4 senior teams as well as offering junior cricket for boys and girls from ages 5-19. Coaching is carried out by ECB qualified coaches and pitch maintenance is overseen by a level III qualified ECB groundsman meaning the club can be very proud of the quality of its playing facilities. In 2008 the club will be running the Government backed “Chance to Shine” scheme, taking cricket coaching into state schools in Loughborough. Every year the club also runs a variety of inter-school tournaments and a cricket coaching week, where children of all abilities can receive a full week of expert coaching. The club celebrated its 50th year at its Moor Lane ground in 2006 by hosting Darren Maddy’s Leicestershire XI in a 20:20 game attracting several hundred spectators. Loughborough Town is one of Leicestershire’s leading clubs, the First XI winning both the Premier Division of the Everards League and the County Cup in 2007. The Club’s Second XI plays in Division 2 of the Everards League and a Third XI will be introduced in 2008, playing in the Leicestershire League. A Sunday XI plays a full fixture list throughout the season. The Club has focused on the development of young players, encouraging all ages from Kwik Cricket through to Under-17 teams playing in local league and cup competitions. A number of junior cricketers has achieved representative honours with the County at various age groups. Market Harborough is one of the longest established cricket clubs in the area. Narborough and Littlethorpe CC
Narborough and Littlethorpe Cricket Club runs 2 Saturday league teams (in Division 1 and 5 of the Everards County League) and is reinstating a 3rd XI for the 2008 season which in addition to a midweek league XI provides a pathway for junior players into senior league cricket. An ECB “Focus” club Narborough are aiming for clubmark accreditation in 2008 and are proud of their Junior cricket set up which features 8 junior teams at age groups U10 through to U17. In 2007 every Junior age group team playing competitive cricket reached at least the County semi Final stage of league competition. Ambitious future plans for the club include provision of a new pavilion in conjunction with the Narborough and Littlethorpe Sports Association and closer links with the local community and schools. Sileby Town were formed in 1895 and have been a cornerstone of cricketing excellence for young cricketers over the last twenty plus years. Sileby is situated off the main A6 between Leicester and Loughborough and is easily accessible from many of the surrounding villages. Sileby are recognised as one of the flagship clubs in Leicestershire for young cricketers and the hard work and commitment has been recognised by the awarding of the coveted Clubmark accreditation, with Sileby being one of the first clubs in Leicestershire to achieve this status. Sileby were also selected by the ECB as one of their Focus Clubs for the 2007 NatWest Cricket Force weekend. Stoughton and Thurnby Cricket Club can be located at the Wadkins Sports Ground in Bushby, just off the A47 (Uppingham Road). The club aims to provide cricket for people of all ages and abilities. We have recently expanded due to an amalgamation with Westonians Cricket Club, with the club now boasting 4 competitive league teams playing on Saturdays throughout the season. Our 1st XI play in the Premier Division of the Everards Leicestershire County League, and our 2nd XI also play in the Everards Leicestershire League in Division 4. Syston Town CC are a thriving club based on the outskirts of Syston on the Fosseway. The club was established in 1904, and play at one of the most picturesque grounds in Leicestershire. The club has senior members, junior members and non playing members. Four senior teams play each week, three at weekends and one in mid-week. Junior teams at all levels from under 10 to under 17 play throughout the week. Membership of the club is open to all and the ground and its facilities are open for use on every day of the week for either matches or practice sessions.
