Neeta Patel Leicestershire’s Acting Cricket Development Manager hopes that local amateur cricket clubs will achieve national recognition when the ECB Natwest OSCA winners are announced in October.

Inaugural Meeting held on Mon 17th March set up the ECB ACO A Constitution was approved Officers and a committee were elected to serve until an AGM scheduled for November 2008 The first meeting of the association will be at the Electricity Sports Groud, Aylestone Road, Leicester on Thursday 10th April at 7.30pm

All clubs and schools throughout the county are invited to enter their Under 13's and Under 15's girls teams in an 8-a-side Lady Taverners outdoor competition. This competition which is free to enter will be held on Saturday 7th June at Grace Road from 10am - 4pm. For application and contact details please see attached flyer.

The winning team goes through to the Regional Finals which are being held at Leicestershire County Cricket Club on Friday 20th June 2008.

Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Board Cricket Development Manager (full-time) A full-time position is available with the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Board (in partnership with the Leicestershire County Cricket Club).

The Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket Board is committed to continue its policy of developing home grown talent. To assist in achieving this we are again operating an extensive coaching programme this winter, aimed specifically at those boys and girls aged between 11-15, with the ability to play at District Level, and 16 and 17 at County Level.
